American and Caribbean Day

The Americas and Caribbean region offers such a striking mosaic of cultures and we are incredibly excited to present to you a window into the lifestyles, traditions, vistas, sounds, and tastes of the region on our Americas and Caribbean Day.
We aim to represent as many facets of the region as possible and hope that you can take away an eye-opening experience that was fun and interactive as well as informative!
A selection of activities we have lined up for you on the Day include:
- Salsa and Tango performances and workshops from the University's Salsa and Argentine Tango Societies
- Craft workshops where you can recreate masks in the style of various festivals that the region is known for.
- Trivia games that you can compete against friends in and win prizes
- Hula-hooping challenge
- Coconut shy
- Live music performances from the Big Band and a Latin band.
- Lasso workshop with the Warwick Riding Society
- Hot dog eating competitions, among many more!
