The One World Week Festival runs from Monday the 23rd of January to Friday the 27th of January and covers the main day events. Festival is the platform for societies to showcase their unique activities and draw you into a whirlwind of different cultures and workshops.
Festival is split into five days -- Australasia Day, Europe Day, Middle East & Africa Day, Americas & Caribbean Day, and UK & Ireland Day -- that each encompass the unique cultural traditions, dances, food, colours, and overall experience of their respective regions.
Come and join the One World Week day party; with opportunities to take part in everything from hot-dog-eating competitions to salsa workshops to language booths, our Festival has something for everyone and gives you the taste of a trip around the world without leaving campus!
Track your 'voyage' across the festival days with our specialized Passport; fill in all ten stamps for a chance at winning a prize raffle to top off your Festival experience. And don't forget that all the SU outlets will be transformed during the week as well, with special one-day offers and menus to give you a culinary tour of the different regions of the world. If you are looking to experience cultural diversity first-hand, look no further: OWW Festival 2012 will be a celebration to remember!
