Warwick’s inter-university dance competition is relatively young having started just three years ago in 2009. Since then, it has shown enormous growth. Last year, 12 universities competed, totalling 36 acts, and this year is going to be even bigger and BETTER!

The competition is divided into five categories loosely representing different continents:
Classical and Modern - Europe,
Eastern – Asia and the Far East,
Latin – South America,
Urban – North America,
Wildcard – Fusion! This category is open to any style of dance, and any combination of styles of dance! Think ‘Save the Last Dance’

This year we want to emphasise the cultural diversity of dance, and the way in which it brings people and countries all over the world together. We plan to celebrate as many different dance styles as possible, truly bringing the spirit of One World Week alive through an amazing show, made all the more exciting by some friendly competition!  The event will be a day long spectacle, so come along and enjoy one, two, or all the categories! We’re looking forward to seeing you all there!
