Animals - Paying the Price for Knowledge?
Animal research has played a vital role in virtually every major medical advance over the last century. However, can we disregard the ethical issues raised by animal testing in the name of scientific development? Forum is delighted to host leading representatives from both sides of the debate. Defenders of animal testing for medical research will put forward their arguments on why it is acceptable and even necessary to use animals for scientific research. Advocates for animal rights will question the necessity of such experimentation and will argue that animals have an intrinsic right not to be used for experimentation. We invite you to join in on what should be one of the most controversial debates of the week.
