This high energy and stimulating session on constructive ways to deal with conflict will be run by the Peerlink team from Leap Confronting Conflict, a leader in helping young people resolve the conflict in their lives. Young people, supported by Leap's Chairman Patrick Dunne, and the Peerlink National Development Co-ordinator Oliver Chevreau, will participate in a series of games, activities and group discussions to explore what conflict is and how to deal with it. Peerlink is a project that aims to create a national network of young people involved in mentoring and mediation in their communities. The project is run by three young peoples' Regional Steering Groups (London, South West & Yorkshire) and one National Steering Group that help to shape the project with their ideas for events, presentations and residentials. Peerlink also trains people who are over 16 to become peer trainers.
